Hi, I'm Sasha Wynter — the heart behind Compassionate Care Training Academy. With over a decade of hands-on experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, I've had the privilege of walking alongside some of the most resilient, joyful, and inspiring people I've ever known.

Throughout my career, I've trained Direct Support Professionals, strengthened documentation practices, championed medication safety, built daily living skills programs, and advocated for truly person-centered support. I've seen firsthand how the right tools and training can transform not just the quality of care — but the confidence and fulfillment of the people providing it.

Compassionate Care Training Academy was born from a simple truth: the people who support others deserve to be supported too. Every resource I create is designed with real DSPs in mind — practical, accessible, and rooted in genuine care.

As a Quality Assurance Manager, I've learned that accountability isn't about catching people doing things wrong — it's about walking alongside them until they get it right. I've sat with staff after hard shifts, reviewed notes together, and celebrated the small wins that nobody else noticed. Real quality assurance is built on trust, follow-through, and a genuine commitment to growth.
